1. About Aure.lk
Aure.lk is a Sri Lanka-based service that provides NFC-enabled smart cards and optionally hosted digital profile pages ("Digital Spaces"). These terms govern your use of our website, ordering process, physical card products, and digital services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to place an order or enter into these Terms of Service. By placing an order, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
3. Products and Services
Aure.lk offers three categories of NFC cards:
- Category A — NFC card with QR code. No hosted digital profile.
- Category B — NFC card with QR code and a hosted digital profile page.
- Category C — Custom printed NFC card with QR code and a hosted digital profile page.
Product descriptions, specifications, and pricing are subject to change. Prices displayed at the time of your order confirmation apply to that order.
4. Orders and Payment
Orders are placed via WhatsApp or our contact form. An order is confirmed only upon our written confirmation and receipt of payment. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion.
Payment is required before production begins. We will communicate accepted payment methods during the order process. Prices are listed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
5. Delivery
We deliver within Sri Lanka. Estimated delivery timelines are provided at the time of order and are not guaranteed. Aure.lk is not responsible for delays caused by courier services, incorrect delivery addresses provided by the customer, or circumstances outside our control.
Risk of loss or damage to your card passes to you upon delivery to the courier for dispatch.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
Due to the custom and personalised nature of NFC card production, orders cannot be cancelled once production has commenced. If a card arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will assess and replace the item at our discretion.
Digital Space subscription fees (annual renewals) are non-refundable once the renewal period has commenced.
7. Digital Space (Hosted Profile)
For Category B and C cards, we create and host a digital profile page on your behalf. This service is active for 12 months from the date of profile creation, after which an annual renewal fee of LKR 500 applies to keep the profile active.
If you do not renew your Digital Space, your profile page will be deactivated. Your physical NFC card remains yours, but the tap or scan will no longer display an active profile unless renewal is processed.
You retain ownership of the content you provide for your profile. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to display that content as part of your hosted profile page for the duration of your active subscription.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Aure.lk services, including your hosted digital profile, to:
- Publish or distribute illegal, harmful, defamatory, fraudulent, or misleading content
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
- Engage in phishing, spam, or any deceptive practice
- Violate any applicable Sri Lankan or international law
We reserve the right to deactivate any profile that violates these terms without notice or refund.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Aure.lk website including branding, design, copy, and imagery is the property of Aure.lk and may not be reproduced, copied, or used without prior written permission.
Custom card designs produced for Category C orders are created for the individual customer. You retain the right to use your card for personal or professional identity purposes.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Aure.lk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or services, including but not limited to loss of business, loss of data, or reputational harm.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of our services after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
